Glossary: Periodic Inspection
An annual review, required by OSHA, of the energy control procedures and the performance of authorized employees to ensure the continued effectiveness of the lockout/tagout program. This inspection must identify any deviations or inadequacies in the procedures or their application. (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6))
