Glossary: Group Lockout Box/Station
A physical container or station used in group lockout procedures where the keys to individual lockout devices, or the locks themselves, are placed after being applied to energy isolating devices. Each authorized employee involved then applies their personal lock to the group lockout box/station, ensuring the equipment cannot be re-energized until the last personal lock is removed, as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147(f)(3).
