Capstone Automated Systems

In this capstone course, learners design, build, and troubleshoot an automated conveyor system that feeds, drills, inspects, sorts, and routes parts using pneumatic, electric, and sensing technologies. The course also connects hands-on system integration with the history and societal impact of automation, preparing students to evaluate automated processes used in modern manufacturing and industrial maintenance environments.
