ARISE Simulation: End of Life Care, EMT-Paramedic, Level 1

This simulation-based course places EMT-Paramedic learners in a home response involving a 35-year-old patient with end-stage lung cancer, respiratory distress, and documented DNR and advance directives. Learners practice scene size-up, recognize end-of-life care considerations, and make patient-centered decisions that align emergency response with legal directives, family dynamics, and paramedic scope.
